Well, I would like to open a nice topic for discussion on the most controversial game (for fans of the series of course) that you were able to do yes gentlemen (and ladies) I mean the acclaimed Devil May Cry 5 or as shown in the trailer "DMC." There goes the trailer for the few who've seen:

Do you have just seen? Are you thinking what I? Yes you are fans of the series you will be likely to head in the toilet throwing breakfast, dinner and food from previous days.
But come on, seriously analyzing the original series, the most of it was gameplay (it seems to be maintained), their cinematic (plus or minus) and above all, the main thing that distinguished him from other games genre, the protagonist, one of the best video game characters ever designed, irony, satire, his temper and his derisive comments toward the super-daemons, were the identity of this series.
But what have they done? have shattered the latter creating a character emo, yes EMO!, very smug indeed (which does not stick to anything with an emo) and have completely changed the style "Gothic" (in a good way) to get an emo -punk ... horrible.
Only a character with claims of merchantability, smug typical teenager who (yes, you read right) SMOKING! But what? Well yes, and gives a much more tough-guy cool (NO). By the way, showing that the typical type reminds me junkie in the park, with its bruising his coat plastic and white tank top underneath. Just missing the bag of "Crossroads" (wait, who no longer exist) to take your comb, you can not miss, and things junkie.
Hopefully it's something like what Ubisoft did with Prince of Persia 2008 (the one with Cell-shading graphics) and not give them to restart the series really, just be a blot on his stellar career (thus saving The DMC2 clear that this does not count).
